Nowadays, travelling around the world has become in something easy due to the low cost companies and easy way for booking tickets to anywhere. This phenomenon has created a mass tourism, which has resulted into an artificial tourism in which everyone is doing the same, seeing the same places, taking the same photos and getting the same souvenirs of the places we visit, without knowing the reality of the city or country we travel and where the main task is consumism.

Spain is a clear image of this kind of tourism, which transforms the places according to the expectations of the organized mass that comes to them, and not according to the tradition, culture and needs of its inhabitants.

The city of Barcelona is one of the most tourist cities of the world. Every year millions of tourists arrive to Barcelona. In 2011 the number of visitors was 7,450,000.

With such amount of tourism, Barcelona becomes in an artificial city prepared to cover all the needs of this type of tourism, fact that makes impossible meeting locals apart of the target market exchange.
